Treasurer ...

...
.
..
Steve Smith
Prior to meeting the balance was $693.03 and
at the end it was $717.28. A check was written
to Bob Burns for reimbursement for two hats,
Received $15.00 payment for one of those hats
plus $30.00 for membership.
Steve said if anyone would be interested in
being treasure closer to Wichita, his feelings
would not be hurt. He would serve if nobody
stepped to the plate however.
Steve gave Bob Burns a signed check to send
to the international for dues.
Unfinished Business:
WEB Site
Bob Burns
We have 3 for sale items still on the site. I
am unaware if any have had activity. We welcome
any item you want to list. I am slowly getting
members bios and photos on the members area.
Any suggestions welcomed.
Thoughts of having a sponsorship page was
received and approved to go forward to explore
the possibilities.
Rides..
...
.
.. Bob Burns
There was mixed feelings on participating in
the Wichita Toy Run 11/6/05. I will send out an
email for those wanting to make the run with a
place and time to meet if we want to do it as a
group.
Mike Keller said he would put together an
overnight ride sometime in the spring. From some
of the ideas it sounds like it will be a great
time to be had by all.
During the winter months Steve Smith
suggested the meetings be held somewhere around
Wichita because of the central location. It
appeared most were in favor of this.

T-Shirts
...
.Jim Wilson
Jim mentioned he had some left over t-shirts
with him if anyone wanted to make a purchase.
It was also discussed at looking at another
vender and possibly redesigning the shirt. Any
changes will have to be approved by the members.
New Business:
Christmas meeting
...
.Bob Burns
We will have some sort of gift exchange (cost
to be reasonable & type to be determined). Bob
Burns to locate a place.
Renewal Packet
...
..Bob Burns
The famed packet has arrived and a deadline
has been set to have the membership ready to be
sent in after the December meeting. If there are
any changes to be made regarding contact
information, a new application will have to be
filled out. A change of status from active to
retired requires a new application and a
retirement or pension letter needs to accompany
it. PLEASE be prepared to take care of this
important aspect of our chapter either at the
November or December Meeting. (Some of the
following information was not discussed, however
it is important to have)

New Members Dues
1st Quarter (Jan-March) $25.00
(+$5.00 Chapter)

(+$5.00 Chapter)

Late Renewal fee after January 31st

The international has a new application. All
old applications need to be destroyed.
Contact Bob Burns, Jim Wilson, Steve Smith or
Brian Smith for a copy of the new application.
(I am mailing them out 10-24-05)
Changes on the applications:
First, the international requires a
copy of the Law Enforcement badge or ID
for new members who are still active in
Law Enforcement. (Their wording)
Second, the international requires a
retirement or pension award letter from
any new retired member or previous
member who is retiring regardless of the
type or retirement. (This applies to
anyone who has a regular retirement,
early retirement, disability retirement
or military retirement.)
Riding Exercises
...Bob Burns
The question was asked if anyone would be
interested in riding exercises to hone their
skills when we have our meetings. The result was
mixed, so I will put together some exercises and
find a place close to our meeting place for
those interested.
