Blue Knights Kansas V Meeting March 2008
Attending: Marv Ayers, Larry and Mary Mazur, Dick Clark, and Joe Schroeder.
Old Business: Discussed Poker Run -- Joe S. will contact Jim L. to set up
meeting with Gunslingers and Fire & Iron.
New Business: I suggested making the 3rd Saturday of the month at 1300
hours as the time for our meetings. This will not be set in stone so we can
change the time and day to accommodate special functions.
I asked the members if riding to and from the meeting is all they want to do
or do we want to set up something to do on those days -- be it a ride or
going to see or do something interesting. Some suggestions were Big Brutus,
Salt Mine at Hutchinson, Motorcycle Museum at Marquette, Eisenhower Center
in Abilene. Please bring suggestions to the meeting.
I asked if there was any interest in doing an overnight ride somewhere.
Even though the group was small there was an interest.
Blue Knights shirts were discussed. Everyone liked the new design. Marv,
purchased 2, and Larry purchased 1. We will discuss going on with that
design at the next meeting.
