Welcome/Sign in. ………………………………………..……. Bob Burns

Those present at this meeting this months were Danny Bardezbain, David and Diane Keene, Dwight Boese (rode 132 miles one way) Bill Tolliver, Jim Wilson and Bob Burns.

Reports:

          Treasurer………………………………..…...….…..…… Steve Smith

Steve was not able to be present because of prior commitment (Work interrupts fun again). No report was available.

Unfinished Business:

          WEB Site Update………………………………………… Bob Burns

The web site is still in progress. Bob contacted Shaun price and Brett Eisenman to review the proposed content. They came up with some good suggestions and all are working together to provide a good site. As soon as it goes live Bob will email the members.

          Rides …………………………………..…...….………….. Bob Burns

We will have a ride in June. Suggestions were made to have it in the Southeast part of the State. Bob Burns will be working on this project. Any ideas should be forwarded to him. David Keene suggested going to Elk Falls Village Caf้ and this would allow a trip also to Dexter where we could visit Henry’s Candy, the home of the Oh’ Henry’s candy bar.

            Motorcycle Rodeo ………………………………………………………………..

Jim Wilson suggested we look at some of the other law enforcement departments and organizations to look at their Redoes. This is a great idea and will be done.

            Embroidery …………………………………………………………..Bob Burns

Last month Jim Wilson suggested we look into All Seasons Sportswear at 4040 N. Maize Road to see what they could do for embroidery work. Bob Burns checked and had them digitize the patch. This will cost $75.00 for that and then $6.00 to have it sewn to a hat or what ever. A sample will be brought to the next meeting. Bob suggested we add a $1.00 or $2.00 to the cost for a money maker. No action taken.

New Business:

Jim Wilson suggested we try to get with the Abilene chapter and maybe have a joint meeting someplace in between. Great idea.

          Next Meeting…………………………………….……..…. Bob Burns

The next meeting is up in the air. Bill Tolliver is going to check on the availability of the Golden Corral in Emporia. The date is left open. WE would like to have some FEEDBACK as to when the best time for everyone would be. Please email Bob Burns@ rburns@sedgwick.gov with your suggestions.
